Money, Money, Money

“Money, Money, Money must be funny in a rich man’s world” –

Sang Abba in the their 1976 worldwide hit song, ironically ending up fabulously wealthy themselves they did find out what it felt like to ‘live in a rich man’s word’ and were laughing all the way to the bank. And there’s dozens of  other songs about money if you want to check them out on YouTube.

Here’s a snippet from my eBook – ‘Wealth- Beyond Belief’  that explains how the human survival instinct is so powerful we (unconsciously) believe that without money we will be unable to find the food to sustain us and thus starve to death.

‘That’s a terrifying prospect for most of us, but a day-to-day reality for millions of people throughout the world.  Perhaps it is this stark reality which makes those of us fortunate enough to be born into a society where the chance of starvation is unlikely, that intensifies this fear?

It is no wonder then that money is universally yearned after, fought over and prayed for. Some people steal and kill for money; some people kill themselves when they lose their money and some people have millions and are still not satisfied. No matter how much or how little we have we always want more. It seems us humans are rarely satisfied with what we have!

One of these books is ‘The Secret’ in which the author suggests that we can manifest what we want, and the ‘Universe will supply it.

Putting my ‘reality hat’ on here, is it really possible that the Universe can make six billion people wealthy just by merely wishing they were? If that were the case, we could all give up work tomorrow, gather together the items we need for our ‘wish board’, sit back on our ‘laurels’ and wait for the Universe to manifest everything we want.  And nobody would be poor or hungry or homeless!

And surely the millions of people who have worked their fingers to the bone for years to earn some comfort in their old age would not agree either. And the poorest of the poor, those who so desperately need it most, would not have the resources to buy the book or DVD, or perhaps be educated enough to read it even if they wanted to.

‘The Secret’s’ message just comes back to the same old ‘positive thinking’ and ‘positive affirmations’ that have been around for many years – just dressed up in today’s latest fashion outfit – to earn the authors a fortune at the expense of the rest of us poor suckers who have rushed out in our millions to buy a copy.

I would suggest you save your hard earned $$$ buying it until you have dealt with all the negative beliefs you might have around money. St. Paul the Apostle stated in a letter to Timothy;

“The love of money is the root of all evil”, but Benjamin Franklin went one better by saying “The lack of money is the root of all evil”.  And as the latest statistics show there are over 17,000 children starving to death each day worldwide, and with hundreds of millions of people living below the poverty line, I would have to agree with him.’

If you would like to get rid of your negative beliefs about money, just click on any photo  of the book, ‘Wealth – Beyond Belief’  on the website, so you can be laughing all the way to the bank.

‘Wealth – Beyond Belief ‘  would make a fantastic Christmas Gift for someone who might be struggling for money or going through a rough financial time.
